Repertoire and scores

The core songs are traditional public domain melodies, transcribed for this app and adapted for beginners.

The extended catalog includes 13 melodies from PDMX, adapted for violin from the first voice, without accompaniment or repeats. The original scores were uploaded to MuseScore by their users. This selection comes from the MusicXML sample published by Seymour Shlien; only files declaring CC0 or public domain within the score are included. OpenScore, PianoXML, Hymnary.org and Cyber Hymnal credits are retained when present in the source. View sources and rights for each score.

Musical content

Note names, fingerings and tuning instructions follow standard teaching practices for beginners. They complement lessons with a teacher and help you practice between classes.
